Fair Repair Auto provides independent automotive repair pricing estimates. Our Service allows you to:

• Search for repair types by category or keyword
• Select your vehicle by year, make, and model
• Enter your ZIP code for localized pricing
• Purchase detailed repair cost estimates for $4.99 per report

Our estimates are based on industry-standard databases, regional labor rates, and market data. We provide pricing information only and do not perform repairs, recommend specific shops, or guarantee actual repair costs.

2. Estimates Are Not Guarantees

IMPORTANT: Our pricing estimates are informational guides, not guarantees of actual repair costs. Actual prices may vary due to:

• Your vehicle's specific condition
• Additional issues discovered during inspection
• Parts quality and availability
• Shop type (dealership vs. independent)
• Regional market variations
• Labor rate fluctuations

We are not liable for any differences between our estimates and actual repair costs charged by mechanics or repair shops.

3. Independence and No Shop Affiliations

Fair Repair Auto is completely independent. We:

• Do NOT recommend specific repair shops
• Do NOT receive commissions from repair shops
• Do NOT have partnerships with parts retailers
• Do NOT share your information with repair businesses

Our sole revenue comes from the $4.99 fee you pay for each pricing report.

4. Payment and Fees

Pricing

• Each pricing report costs $4.99
• Payment is required before accessing the report
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Prices are subject to change with notice

No Refunds

All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of our service, we do not offer refunds once a report has been generated and delivered. By purchasing a report, you acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy.

Exceptions

We may offer refunds at our sole discretion in cases of:

• Technical errors preventing report delivery
• System failures resulting in incomplete reports
• Duplicate charges due to payment processing errors

5. User Responsibilities

When using our Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate vehicle information
• Provide a valid ZIP code for local pricing
• Use the Service for lawful purposes only
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our pricing data
• Not share purchased reports publicly or redistribute them
• Not use automated systems to access the Service

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Fair Repair Auto, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, pricing data, and software, is the property of Fair Repair Auto and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Purchased reports are licensed to you for personal use only. You may not:

• Resell or redistribute reports
• Use reports for commercial purposes
• Share reports publicly on websites or social media
• Extract pricing data for use in competing services

7. VIN Decoder Service

Our VIN decoder uses the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) database to identify vehicle information. While we strive for accuracy:

• VIN decoder results are provided "as is"
• We are not responsible for errors in NHTSA data
• You should verify the decoded information is correct

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy of pricing data
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAIR REPAIR AUTO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Costs of obtaining substitute services
• Differences between our estimates and actual repair costs
• Decisions made based on our pricing information
• Disputes with repair shops

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC REPORT IN QUESTION (I.E., $4.99).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Fair Repair Auto and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Any disputes with repair shops or mechanics
